KAPTİD (Cappadocia Tourist Hotels and Enterprises Association), established in 1988 to introduce Cappadocia in national and international platforms, is a member NGO of Turkish Hotels Federation (TÜROFED). Since founded, it has been trying to present Turkey and Cappadocia at major tourism fairs in the countries sending tourists to Cappadocia, such as UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, and Japan. At home, KAPTİD promotes Cappadocia at several tourism events and the EMITT fair. KAPTİD has 60 members, all among major tourism investors of the region.
