Peribacası Cappadocia Culture and Publicity Magazine together with Skål Cappadocia Club prepared a project about publication of a series of books under the title of “Destination Cappadocia”. During the project, running with the support of our sponsors, in order to promote Cappadocia especially in the tourism fairs on abroad, at first 5 books will be published in English. Later on the books will be translated into other languages. The books will not be exposed for sale, all will be distributed free of charge.
The first book of the series with 96 pages was published in November 2008 with the title of Destination Cappadocia. The book aims to promote Cappadocia in general. Introduction part consists of practical information for Cappadocia travelers and the following chapters consist of detailed information about geology, history and culture of Cappadocia. The book was published in 7000 pieces and distributed free of charge in important tourism fairs abroad and EMITT Fair in Turkey.
