The pension, formed by combination of four Avanos houses, has been serving since 1982. Some of the rooms which are authentic but simply decorated are large enough to accommodate four people. Old materials which have been gathered from the region for many years, adorn the rooms and inner courtyard. Breakfasts and dinners are served in its patio in summer, and in its restaurant carved into rock in winter. At summer nights local live-music accompanies the dinner. Via Kirkit Voyage, promoting Turkey for many years, most of the tourists who visit Cappadocia to perform horse back riding, mountain biking, trekking, canoe-raft in Kızılırmak, trekking on hedik (a kind of snowshoes) in winter and cultural tours, accommodate in Kirkit Pension.
