I was in the region for four days for the Cappadocia trip which is an amazing experience for me. Set aside my very first trip in a baby carriage, I have visited Aksaray Güzelyurt, Niğde Göllüdağ, Ihlara Valley, Meskendir Valley, Güllüdere-1 Valley, Ürgüp, Göreme and Uçhisar for the first time. I should admit that four days are not enough to travel in Cappadocia as it is having such a culture, nature, and history. And, I should also say that these four days can only be a basis for further Cappadocia trips.
Every moment I’ve spent in Cappadocia was very pleasant; but I’m quite delighted with gorgeous landscape and late Hittite remains spread in a large area seen from the top of Göllüdağ, the peace I found in the night I was hosted at an old Greek house in Güzelyurt, observing two deserted churches in the Ihlara Valley, valley trekking, Kolonlu (Pillared) Church looks like a chimney transformed to a pigeon house outside but amazes with magnificence inside.
It is a distinctive pleasure for me to travel in Cappadocia with Ayça and Yavuz who publish the Peribacası magazine. I gained a lot by looking at Cappadocia through their knowledge.
